Siegel Capra Fine Grain - Navy

Siegel Capra Fine Grain goat leathers are a high-quality and economically priced bookbinding leather. All skins are considered Grade 1 which means they have virtually no blemishes or marks. These leathers exhibit a fine natural grain pattern and no or minimal paring is needed as this leather is split to .060 to .075 mm.  Because goat leather is a strong leather, it is an excellent choice for bibles, as well as traditional and non-traditional book making. These leathers are 100% vegetable tanned and will readily accept gold tooling.

We recommend ordering a sample card to determine the colors, thickness, and textures of the leathers. Keep in mind that dye lots may vary slightly and, although they are very close, the colors might not match exactly to the ones on the sample card.
